well I did not exactly include images from the whole session in that post. She brought her baby sister too. It was such a freezing windy morning, but the sun was shining, and we ended up taking our time and eventually it warmed up.
This gives you a pretty good idea how cold it was when we started...
Now I must introduce little baby sister who apparently looks quite like the older sister when she was a baby. I suppose if you gave her a head full of curly red hair???
I think I can see it???
Ok, for sure I can see it.
I think we need to get this kid a wig or something to test out that theory?
Maybe we can see it in pictures of them together, although it may be slightly difficult to get past the sweetest baby torture I have seen. This makes me giggle...big sister looks to be having a marvelous time choking...I mean hugging...little sister and little sister..well I think you can see it in her face what she was thinking...
In case you may be interested in the marathon, it was my favorite half yet. I had the most fun for sure and am feeling already excited to do the next one. I am thinking possibly Dick Beardsley in DL. My finishing time was 2:13 and although it is my slowest time, I am the happiest about this one. I just took my time and enjoyed it. Oh and just in case Marc Knutson the race director is reading this..just kidding...I loved the flood forced course way more than the traditional course. I hope they consider partially keeping it. Running up and down both 8th and 9th street was so cool and the support from people watching rocked!
Oh and I have one more itsy bitsy tiny thing....just because I know you are probably looking and I started your gallery tonight, I thought I would share this tiny sneak peak with you Tricia....
One other tiny thing, my July schedule is now full as well, so I will be taking appointments now for August and beyond.
Bye for now....
and a session from last weekend that was rescheduled due to rain and it ended up being the most beautiful weather! This little girl was a total doll...even better though she was a doll with dimples. This is her when we first met...
It took her about one minute to show off those dimples...
She occasionally but only briefly would resort back to her suspicious way...meaning she was suspicious of me....
But more than not she knew she it was time to play...
And lastly...I could not say no when they asked for a throwing picture...I do not know that little "A" was too happy about it at first, but she warmed up to it after a bit.
Now I must go and drink water, eat carbs, and get plenty of sleep for tomorrow. That also means I will have to start thinking about the torture that I am choosing to put myself through:(
Bye for now....
Well here is the first home part of their session.....
Little "C" is 6 weeks old....and just beginning to smile....but also about 4 weeks two old to get newborn looking shots.
His room matched his outfit...by accident I think???
her feet...
his feet...those are some pretty fancy shoes for a two year old.
Pretty Darn cute together and ahh...she sleeps...
Bye for now....
This was a session from a couple weeks ago again and it was really "scrappy" out....minus the "s"..."Scrappy" weather is hard on little babies. We fought wind and rain and cold, but somehow we still managed to get pictures that as her mommy put it...made her jaw open.
We took breaks from the weather inside and it was just too funny, we would go inside (=warm) and little ham ball would come out...then we would go outside (="scrappy) and miss serious would appear. I always say though it literally just takes a second to get a shot that you will love...anyway onto baby "L's" post...
It is not only newborn hands that grab my attention...so chubby and yummy
My favorite from that day....
Bye for now.....
My little girl turned six about 1 month ago and I have been waiting for a nice day to take her pictures. Yesterday was a perfect day so I had her two outfits, bathed her, fixed her hair, and dressed her up. First we had to make a stop though to pick out bridesmaids dresses....(LOVE YOU KATHY, CONGRATULATIONS)...the bridesmaid dress thing became a marathon so by the time we got done it was cloudy, raining, and had cooled down quite a bit. Now one thing you have to know about my Ella is that she has high anxiety about rain and she is probably the coldest person I know. So this was not looking good, and actually was not good. I managed to get her to shoot for about 10 minutes so we ultimately decided that we would try again another day.
These are a few of what I got in that short period....as I was editing them I felt very nostalgic about that girl of mine and I really just was so proud of her. I can not believe that she really is mine....so pretty and sweet....and really really really talkative.
Bye for now....
