I get asked that alot. My answer is it depends on what you define as traditional. I would never describe the family pictures that I enjoy taking as traditional. My overall preference in family portraiture is a more lifestyle/photo journalistic mood, however, I do do some posed as well. I think this is probably a logical question as I tend to post more individual shots for sure and I have not updated my website in a long...long....very long time. I could probably use a new swanky one from Into The Dark Room...but that is a whole other issue...
Anyway, back to the family thing....Here is a snippet of a session I did recently which had a greater focus on family images....
Ok, just one individual of each boy...the oldest, was outgoing and friendly and we made friends right off the bat and that little baby...he cooed and smiled!
