Josie's nursery (and Ella's for that matter) was yellow..not because I loved it, but because it was gender neutral. We always just planned on having one nursery so when we did it it needed to apply to all the kids we would have.
Before we knew it Josie grew into a big girl and was ready for a big girl room. We said goodbye to that yellow room and replaced it with tan and brown (I know...what was I thinking) on the walls to be accented with pink. ONE MONTH....only one month after the undoing of her yellow nursery, yellow became her most favorite color ever. I must hear about that color 50 times a day. Whenever we go anywhere and something is yellow or there are clothes that are yellow or whatever, she is so excited. She has yellow crocs and lots of yellow clothes and even yellow sunglasses and if everything is clean she prefers to dress in yellow from head to toe. Buying our new house in Bettendorf Iowa now gives us the opportunity to give her back a yellow room. We chose (she thinks she did) the softest lightest yellow ever so it should be pretty and she will love it. We even bought her a yellow John Deere bike which she totally does not need, but how could we resist.
I love that little yellow loving blond bombshell finger sucking munchkin...Here is a picture to celebrate her love of all things yellow!!!
Bye for now....Susie

Love this pic!
